With the recent news of Emerald Ash Borer presence in Nova Scotia, our Mi’kmawey Forestry team and the Black Ash Recovery project lead, Cody Chapman, have had a lot of attention turned their way. We’ve had journalists reaching out from as far as the West Coast of Canada who have caught wind of the work that the Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq has been doing for close to a quarter century to save Wisqoq.
